    Hi Fellow Parents!

I want to get your take on tutors, are they worth it for my student? I am totally on board as long as it’s valuable for my Tommy!

All input welcome, thank you all! So excited to be part of this community!

    Hi Kristi,

Welcome to Orsch. We’re very happy to have you! In our experience, tutoring can be really effective. Most kids benefit from one on one interaction, and a tutor is especially vigilant about honing in on a student’s specific needs. In addition, most tutors are proficient at finding the right avenue to fit a student’s learning style and they craft their lessons and interactions accordingly. It’s probably best to interview prospective tutors and put in the time and work necessary to find a good fit for your student. When you do find the right fit, you’ll be happy you took this step because you’ll likely see immediate improvement and engagement in your kiddo.

Let us know if you have more specific and/or other questions. Also…I encourage other Orsch teachers to weigh in on this topic as well! @Jenny, @Emma, @Sam, @Cheryl…your thoughts?

    Thanks for participating!
