Ms Jordan's Bio
I moved to Gunnison in the fall of 2006 to attend Western State College, where I ran for the cross country and track teams. I was also an active member in many other on campus activities from the Honors Program to tutoring in the Writing Center and for two history classes. I graduated cum laude with a BA in history and a minor in English in 2010. Since I was 10 years old, I dreamed of becoming a teacher. Teaching is my “dream job” as I love school! Being a teacher I have found there is a cycle of continuous learning and teaching between myself and my students. Last year, almost by magic, Jackie Burt and Orsch appeared and blessed me with a beautiful opportunity to teach social studies, English, and PE at Orsch. I love the creativity and freedom that blossoms from Orsch’s philosophy through my students’ and my own work.
